Verlo Employee Picks – Ben Bird

Verlo Employee Picks – Ben Bird

If you’re the kind of person who likes to ask the chef for a recommendation before you order in a restaurant, you may enjoy knowing which Verlo mattresses our employees have chosen to buy.

Ben Bird,
Senior Graphic Designer at Verlo, sleeps on a v9 Pillowtop Verlo mattress.

Name: Ben Bird

Position: Senior Graphic Designer

Years at Verlo: 1 year this June

Sleep Position: Side sleeper

Mattress You Purchased:v9 Pillowtop

How long have you had your new Verlo mattress? 4 months

What was your old mattress like? Starting to sag in the middle

The v9 features Phase Change Latex that offers pressure-point relief and thermal conductive sleep technology.

What made you choose this Verlo mattress? Definitely for the Sleep Cool and Motion Separation that it offers. It also has a beautiful design. I always feel bad when we put the sheets on it!

How are you sleeping now? Much better! Although, it took about a month for me to get used to it.

How many hours of sleep do you typically get each night? I think I average about 8 hours a night.

What makes your bedroom conducive to sleep? Being on the second level, without air conditioning, it tends to get warm at night – and I’m already a warm sleeper so the Sleep Cool aspect of the v9 made perfect sense.

Ben and his wife love sleeping on their v9 mattress. It took about 30 days for them to adjust to it, which is completely normal.

P.S. After Ben’s wife Liz saw this post, she sent Ben this email: You forgot to tell them you get 8 hours of sleep because you hog the entire bed 🙂
