Pillow Talk with…Tiffany Ogle

While The Morning Blend on Today’s TMJ4 was filming a segment at Verlo’s Wauwatosa store, we asked talk show host Tiffany Ogle to answer some questions about her personal sleep habits.

What do you do when you’re not sleeping, i.e., what’s your day job?

Milwaukee TV talk show host on The Morning Blend on Today’s TMJ4.

How many hours of sleep do you typically get?

7 – 8 ½. I feel my best with 9 hours, though.

What is your normal sleeping position?

Start on my left side, and then wake up on my back with my arms above my head.

What’s on your nightstand?

Water, overnight repair ChapStick, my cell phone (it’s my alarm clock), two pictures (one of me and my boyfriend, and the other a motivational quote in a frame), and whichever book I’m reading.

What do you have to do or have before you can go to sleep?

Water, ChapStick and pray.

Do you sleep with a pet?

Yes, but he doesn’t stay all night. My 15-year-old cat, Bluegrass, is my best bud!

What do you do if you can’t sleep?

mar 8 featured image-1.jpgI can ALWAYS sleep. I have “nap-attacks” and am proud to be a sleepoholic. I don’t drink caffeine after 2 p.m. If I can’t sleep, I read.

What do you love about your bedroom?

I have set up a sanctuary that’s comfortable and relaxing. I have a reading nook, a sitting area with a “happy” light, a humidifier and a meditation spot to practice gratefulness.

Do you read in bed? What’s the last book you read?

Currently, I’m reading The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein, and Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert. I also quickly browse social media and read a daily inspirational book my mom gave me.

Do you remember your dreams?

Yes, much of the time, and I journal as well. I listen carefully if there’s a message from my subconscious.
