Ten years later, Guy and Dale unveiled the handcrafted, personalized mattresses to their customers in Wheeling, Ill. It was there they operated under the guise, Wheeling Furniture Company. Twenty years later, after incorporation in Wisconsin, Guy and Dale added a personal touch to their personalized sleep products. They changed their unique store's moniker to Verlo, to reflect their wives' names, Verna and Lois.

Growing word-of-mouth referrals and flourishing demand prompted Guy and Dale to open the Verlo name to franchise opportunities ... on a handshake and a promise: to keep quality and customer service first.
